Corey Gamble and Kris Jenner have allegedly been engaged in a high-stakes, behind-the-scenes battle over money for weeks–and it looks like things might have come to a breaking point. According to several new reports, the pair are as close to a breakup as they’ve ever been, and their finances might be the primary disagreement: Corey apparently some more of the Kardashian money that Kris has worked so hard to earn!
It was only a few weeks ago that we discovered (apparently) why Corey Gamble and Kris Jenner began dating: during Bruce Jenner’s transition into Caitlyn, Kris picked Corey “so she wouldn’t look lonely.” Since then, the pair have been engaged in intense contract negotiations regarding Corey’s role on Keeping Up With The Kardashians; he thinks his bigger role going forward ought to result in higher per-episode payments. Corey was said to be waiting for the pair’s engagement and wedding plans to be finalized in order to hold Kris to her word.
Now, a new article on Corey Gamble and Kris Jenner courtesy of OK Magazine claims that Corey might be just about out of patience. Corey allegedly “demands more money” from Kris or he’ll walk: he’s “tired of being Mr. Kris Jenner,” says their source, “sick of being pushed around, and is speaking up for himself a lot more these days.” His current income is about $20,000 per month, but most of that comes from babysitting the assorted hard-partying Kardashians, and the “restless” Corey is tired of waiting for Kris to make him famous, as she’s said to have promised.
The current rift might be one reason why Inquisitr recently reported that Kris is planning to dump Corey–that, and because she apparently thinks “he has no personality.” Corey is “a bit on the calm and boring side,” claims the article; in the words of an insider, Kris “wants to find someone with a higher profile so they can be a celebrity power couple. And she’s already boasting about a string of musicians and actors who have been flirting with her!”
