Married at First Sight is one of the most addicting reality shows on TV. As a viewer, you’re constantly trying to guess which of the three couples choose to stay together and who goes their separate ways at the end of the season.
Like all relationship based reality shows, the couples from MAFS are contractually obligated to stay mum on the current status of their marriage. Each cast member is extra careful not to reveal too many details over social media that could indicate the outcome of the season finale, or are they?
Hard-core fans, like us, analyze every status update, picture, and “Like” to gain clues as to the fate of each relationship. Back when the season began, we did some digging and came up with our predictions as to which couples would stay together and who would get divorced.
Last month, we did a follow-up post about Neil and Sam that showed mounting evidence to suggest the couple is still together.
In a recent Periscope to her fans, Sam seems to have confirmed our suspicions as to the current status of her relationship with Neil.

In the video, Sam is having a casual conversation with her audience about visiting a gun range. She begins the convo by saying, “The boys were busy tonight…”
Who are the “boys” are she’s referring to? We don’t know, at least not initially.
A few minutes later, a viewer asks Sam, “Was Neil with you?” and Sam responds by saying, “No, Neil’s not with me. The boys went out and did some stuff.”
Is this a major bombshell revealing Sam and Neil are still married? No, definitely not.
Is this a good indication that Sam and Neil are still a large part of each other’s life? Yes!
Not only did Sam confirm knowing Neil’s current whereabouts, she also referred to him and his friends as “the boys”. To me, that proves the couple has a circle of friends together.
Do you think Sam and Neil are still married? Or is this a flippant remark that has no bearing on their current relationship status?
We will know the status of Sam and Neil’s relationship once and for all when the season finale of Married at First Sight airs on Tuesday, February 23rd at 9/8c on A&E.
