Black Ink Crew Update: Dutchess swears off feud with Donna, promises to be good (for now)

Black Ink Crew update 3

The latest Black Ink Crew update centers (unsurprisingly) on divisive fan favorite Dutchess and her always-simmering feud with crewmate Donna. The pair apparently got into a proper fight just a few days ago–and the lone, but crucial casualty was Donna’s wig, which Dutchess says she snatched off of her rival’s head and wore while parading around. The fight then took to social media, but both parties say they’re over it…for the time being.

Per VH1 itself, Donna says she got jumped by Dutchess because of a text exchange she had with O’Sh*t, in which he claimed the pair (Donna and Dutchess) had been…intimate. The Shade Room captured screen shots of the since-deleted Instagram updates between the two; in the second, Donna chides OSh*t, telling him “Stop lookin’ for story line, yo a weak a** b*tch for that.”

A scuffle ensued, in which Donna’s wig was snatched and photos of it shared on social media for all the world to enjoy.

Donna wasn’t pleased, but she resolved to put the matter behind her as smoothly as possible. After she got in a couple of digs, of course:

Which led to the following white flag from Dutchess:

As if to further emphasize her new commitment, Dutchess followed that Instagram update with another, shorter text-based post, in response to all the sniping going on in the comments section as a result of the first one:

Since then, the air has been quiet between the two Black Ink Crew fixtures. Donna turned her attention to a string of nationwide engagements–she’ll be in Dallas this weekend, with further appointments forthcoming–and almost immediately decided to switch her style up once more, tucking back the blonde locks in favor of a new pink-and-turquoise ‘do:

So far, Dutchess has been true to her word about keeping the peace. She spent last weekend with Ceaser at a VIP event in Minneapolis, and her most recent social media update involves a buzzworthy, just-completed photo shoot:

Though Black Ink Crew is believed to have been renewed for a fourth season, VH1 has yet to make an official announcement on the matter. Given the show’s continued big ratings, though–and the strong performance of last autumn’s spin-off, Black Ink Crew: Chicago–it’s probably only a matter of time until we hear from the network about new episodes.
