Is New York Housewife LuAnn de Lesseps engaged? Reality star spotted shopping for engagement rings

LuAnn and Thomas

It appears the Countess has finally found true love! LuAnn recently confirmed her relationship with wealthy businessman Thomas D’Agostino, Jr.

The pair rang in the new year together in Palm Springs, Florida, where they soaked up the sun, played golf, and, apparently, shopped for engagement rings.

A source told People that LuAnn and Thomas are planning to get engaged soon. The 50-year-old Bravolebrity is said to be “over the moon and so happy,” and an engagement “announcement” is on the horizon.

It just so happens the New York ladies are currently filming the 8th season of The Real Housewives of New York. What a great storyline, am I right?

So–who is this Thomas guy, anyway?

According to LinkedIn, Thomas is the CEO of the printing company Smart Source which is described as a “sourcing company with category expertise in buying, managing and distributing print and promotional materials.”

Thomas has also been linked to the successful New York supermarket chain D’Agostinos. Some reports claim he’s an heir to the long-standing, family business, while others claim there’s no connection.

One more fun fact about Thomas: he’s been linked to Ramona Singer.

In September, it was reported that Ramona and Thomas were casually dating, but things between the pair never got serious.

Thankfully, there doesn’t seem to be any hard feeling between Ramona and LuAnn. The two seemed happy spending time together just two weeks ago.

Congrats to LuAnn on her impending engagement!

We can’t wait to see more when the 8th season of The Real Housewives of New York returns later this year.

Even though I’ve stepped in piles of dog sh!t with more class and personality than she has, I must say she looks really good in the top photo with that guy.

Hope she doesn’t pull a Gretchen! She’s the one to propose and buy her own ring!

When she gets married, she won’t be the ‘Countess’ anymore. Maybe the pretentiousness will go away, too.
