Though Duggar family turmoil continues to rage in light of Josh Duggar’s ongoing infidelity and molestation controversies, the family recently surprised observers with an unexpected update on Josh and Anna’s daughter Meredith Grace.
TLC’s upcoming Jill & Jessa: Counting On special, which premieres December 13th, has Duggar family members at odds with each other. According to recent reports, the family is divided between those who are shocked and horrified that the network would put Anna Duggar in front of cameras so soon after this year’s revelations about her husband, and those who, in the words of insiders, are simply looking to cash check. Speculation about the possibility of an Anna Duggar divorce has mounted in recent weeks; Josh, “desperate” to get back in his wife’s good graces, is reportedly planning a grand gesture–possibly in the form of a large vow renewal ceremony–to try and do so.
Anna and Josh Duggar have both kept a very low social media profile over the past few months, and the Duggar family as a whole has scaled back its visibility in the wake of 19 Kids and Counting‘s cancelation. It was something of a surprise, then, when the family dropped a casual update about Anna and Josh Duggar’s five-month old daughter Meredith Grace into its Facebook feed:

Neither Anna Duggar nor Josh Duggar have shared an official update; Anna’s forthcoming appearance on TLC will be her first in months.
