Kim Kardashian pregnancy update: Her baby boy is in breech

Kim Kardashian pregnancy update 1

The latest Kim Kardashian pregnancy update brings some troubling news for the reality TV icon. Kim’s baby boy is in breech, and she’s doing everything she can to prevent a birth by C-section. According to her latest website update, Kim has started “intensive” chiropractic work, along with a host of other things, up to and including hypnosis.

Kim, who is entering her 36th week of pregnancy, sounded more upbeat than despondent in her update, despite the fact that she recently called pregnancy “the worst experience of my life.” Among other things, Kim said:

I, of course, will try anything to still turn the baby. I lay practically upside down three times a day for 15 minutes. I play music in the right position and ice my belly in certain spots to get him to squirm out of the breech position. I even started acupuncture where I burn moxa on my pinky toe every day! I am even attempting hypnosis!

Kim went on to reveal that she’ll be attempting a procedure called External Cephalic Version (or ECV), by which doctors attempt to turn the baby from a breech or side-lying position toward a head-down position before labor. The prodecure isn’t typically performed on women before the 37th week of a pregnancy, meaning Kim will be eligible in just a few days.

Last week, Kim made plans to move up her due date from Christmas to “around” Thanksgiving, citing health concerns as the reason.

“It’s been hard,” Kim went on to say, “because I usually go to my mom or Kourtney for baby and pregnancy advice, but they both–with nine total pregnancies!–have never experienced one of these crazy things. I’m doing the research myself and want to share with you what I know. Obviously, if it’s an emergency and for the safety of my son, I will get a C-section—but if I don’t need one, I’d rather not.”

No thank you! I’ll take advice from a doctor. Why does she think her pregnancies are so extreme from the rest of women. She is beyond privileged compared to everyday mothers. Give it up Kim.

I know with her 1st pregnancy she had GD and pre-eclampsia, and the way it’s looking from the next episode preview she has it again this pregnancy. I’ve never experienced either one myself during my pregnancy but my friend has and she delivered her baby at 33 weeks, because it was what was best for her.

People do get induced due to pre-eclampsia because if you have it very badly it can lead to strokes and possibly death. Before you get to that condition you would be put on complete bedrest and/or hospitalized. I actually had to lay on my side because laying on my back increased my blood pressure so dramatically it set off alarms. Considering she’s still keeping filming and appearances etc I don’t think she’s at the point. They also don’t plan out an induction date, they wait and see and hopefully everything stays the same and you can keep on going, if your condition worsens then they decide right then to induce or not.

Setting up the story for a tummy tuck. 👌🏼

  • Jessica

Oh Kim, why even talk about this publicly unless you already have a planned csection so you can have a tummy tuck?! There are doctors who will in labor put their arm up you and turn the baby themselves but I doubt you’ll go that route.

  • Doctors are so unethical now

She’s inducing – “she moved up her due date”. Why? Full term is best for baby. Even breech babies are best born at full term. The business of inducing births is bad for both babies and moms. It’s unethical and needs to stop.

A LOT of babies turn between 36-40 weeks. This is utter nonsense, except for the fact that she’s forcing that baby out of her body a month early.

PREACH! Took the words right out of my mouth.

    • MsAwesomePants

She’s a got a new New Year’s Eve party dress she wants to squeeze into, so she needs to get baby out ASAP.

      I’m kidding…I hope.

      • DZBabe

Its bad, but I could see her saying that.

      • Name

        Nope, you’re probably right.

  • Another non-mom

    I forgot. She’s probably shilling a product.
That’s what this is about. That and getting the infant out as soon as physically possible and shoving the parenting duties onto a team of hired help. These babies are just anchors to Kanye. Based on how poor Nori looks when Kim holds her, she’s a lot more comfortable with her nannies(mothers).

I hate that she’s moving her due date up. What the heck?! Who is the Dr? My dr wouldn’t even think about inducing or getting the baby out until I was at least 2 weeks past due (thank god baby came on own) or if it was medically necessary for baby or my health to need to do it earlier. People need to stop rushing the process. Inducing is not the best route, contractions are stronger and closer together and that can cause stress on baby. More than half of inductions end up in csections also. I know it’s exciting to get baby here but let baby come on its own unless there’s a pressing reason why baby needs to get out ASAP. So ridiculous. People these days suck.

Can she be anymore dramatic? “Intense chiropractics” there’s nothing intense about it. It’s a really simple method called the Webster technique where they do a simple adjustment by pushing two fingers on a certain muscle on your belly over your uterus. My son was breech and I only had to go once and the technique worked.

  • J

She isn’t moving up her due date, she is moving up her scheduled induction. She is way more likely to need a c as a result.

That said she actually DOES have a very serious condition that is life threatening and most women don’t deal with – Google placenta accreta. She isn’t just being a drama queen … FOR ONCE.

  • Dana

She’s an idiot. Inducing will put her at a very high risk of having a C.

  • Beelzebub

Soon Kim will take a sh*t and out will come a Niglet.
