You don't walk onto the set when the actors are doing their job. And by the sound of the original recording, Bale told the DP multiple times to stop screwing around while they're filming. I fully embrace Bale's tantrum. He's an actor. He's trying to pour his soul into a scene (this was during what is supposedly the emotional climax of the movie) and somebody is in the background screwing with the lights and walking on set.
