Kylie Jenner jealous? It’s true, according to family insiders, who say that simple jealousy is the reason Kylie didn’t support sister Kendall at the latter’s Victoria’s Secret catwalk debut last night.
According to a report published just before Kendall’s big premiere as a Victoria’s Secret Angel (and, if you haven’t seen Kendall’s photo spread yet, you can check it out right here), Kylie was both stoked for her sister’s success and expected to be front and center to cheer her on. “She wants the best for Kendall,” said a close family friend. “She knows how much Kendall wanted to be a part of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and she can’t wait to see her strut her stuff on the catwalk!”
When it came time for the show, though, Kylie was nowhere to be found. She later tried to explain her absence on Twitter–but, as keen observers noted, Kylie gave two different explanations…both of which fueled the fire of Kylie Jenner jealous rumors.

Those same observers pointed out that Kylie felt well enough to go shopping in the rain earlier the same day–and in a revealing mesh top, no less:
It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Kylie, where family relations are concerned. The day before Kendall’s VS debut, it emerged that Kylie’s been fighting her family (and Kim Kardashian in particular) over their desire to exclude Tyga from the family Christmas card. Kylie threatned to boycott the card herself unless Tyga could be a part of it with her; reportedly, the family thinks that’s an unreasonable request, and refuses to budge.
Before that came reports that her own mother called Kylie “selfish” for demanding a Keeping Up With The Kardashians spin-off. It’s a demand Kylie and Kendall have both made before, when the understanding was that they would star in the spin-off together. Reports of Kylie’s jealousy in that matter, though, stated that she wants a show of her own, and thinks that she has a right to it, now that she’s eighteen.
Of course, there’s also the fact that Kylie Jenner has reportedly been jealous of Kendall since Kendall’s modeling career took off. Kylie spends two hours on her hair and makeup every day, and fancies herself a model–something her sponsors, including retailers PacSun, try to encourage at every turn.
