According to new reports, Scott Disick’s second stint in rehab was inspired by an “ultimatum” he received from ex Kourtney Kardashian–one that involved getting clean or losing any chance at custody of the pair’s three children. However, after learning of Lamar Odom’s shocking news, Scott has temporarily left his Malibu rehab center to be by Odom’s side.
The second Scott Disick rehab stint, which began yesterday, had apparently been in the works for at least a few days. People reports that Disick got himself checked in following Kourtney’s “ultimatum,” which had to do with the couple’s three children: Mason, aged five; Penelope, aged three; and Reign, aged ten months. Kourtney made it known that she thought Scott was “a drunk mess,” and that his drinking had created “a poor environment for her children to be raised in.”
Disick’s rehab clinic is Cliffside Malibu, a “luxury” treatment center. It’s actually his fourth try at rehab; there were apparently two earlier visits that the reality TV star checked himself out of.
However, his current stay was interrupted by news that former KUWTK pal Lamar Odom’s condition has taken a turn for the worse. Apparently, Disick wasn’t even supposed to know that Odom had been hospitalized; the family thought the knowledge would only worsen Scott’s own plight.
Disick intends to return to rehab, but, for the time being, fled Malibu for Las Vegas, where Odom has been hospitalized.
