VIDEO Bobbi Kristina Update: Tyler Perry shares moving Bobbi Kristina tribute video

Noted actor and director Tyler Perry, a long-standing friend of the Brown and Houston families, has shared on social media the moving Bobbi Kristina tribute video he first aired during Bobbi Kristina’s Atlanta funeral last month.

Perry was quick to note that he didn’t intend to post the footage, as the Bobbi Kristina tribute video was meant to be private. When both the Browns and the Houstons asked Perry to share his creation, though, he agreed, and took to Facebook to do so. Largely a simple, touching photo montage, the film begins with a short snippet of Bobbi Kristina’s own words, delivered after the loss of mother Whitney Houston in 2012.

The montage is set to Whitney Houston’s song “You Were Loved.”

Here is the unedited version of the Bobbi Kristina tribute video:

The Houston estate asked if I would share this tribute that I put together for Bobbi Kristina’s private funeral. On behalf of the Brown and Houston families, we would all like to thank you for your prayers and support. God bless,

As of today, Monday, September 7th, the video has just shy of 94,000 likes, and over 76,000 shares, in addition to nearly 12,000 comments.

Tyler Perry paid a surprise hospice visit to Bobbi Kristina, during her final days; he also made his private jet available to Bobby Brown to travel between cities for medical consults during Bobbi Kristina’s time in hospice and in hospital before that.
