Madame Tussauds might consider changing their name to Madame Tushauds after unveiling their new Nicki Minaj wax figure inspired by her racy “Anaconda” music video.

The wax figure was unveiled at the famous wax museum’s Las Vegas location earlier today. Nick Minaj is portrayed on all fours wearing gold chains and very revealing black bottoms barely covering the singer’s famous derriere. “Guests have been consistently asking us to make her figure,” says Cole Kouvaris, marketing manager, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. “As her music continues to grow in popularity, so does her larger-than-life persona and we wanted to capture that essence by creating the type of Madame Tussauds figure guests will find only in a city like Las Vegas.”

Amazingly, it appears that Nicki wasn’t even aware they were making a wax likeness of her! She’s been giddy on Twitter and Instagram all day reacting to the unveiling, including this video clip with her surprised reaction:

The figure took nearly six months to create with more than 20 artists contributing to the project. “Based from over 300 precise body measurements, Minaj’s figure was first sculpted in clay by hand and covered in a plaster cast,” says the Madame Tussauds Las Vegas website. “Once the clay was removed from the cast, the wax was poured in and allowed to cool. Finally, the figure was fitted with acrylic eyes and teeth; hairs on the head and face were inserted individually by hand and countless layers of paints and tints were applied to build up skin tones – all to achieve her astonishingly lifelike figure and her now famous pose.”

During the unveiling, Madame Tussauds had a jungle backdrop and back-up dancers on hand to enhance the music video recreation:

In conjunction with the Nicki Minaj wax figure unveiling, Madame Tussauds has launched an “Instagram photo contest offering guests the chance to win a Nicki Minaj goodie bag.” According to the site, aspiring contestants “will upload their photos posing on the ‘Anaconda’ set to Instagram and tag the pictures with #mtnickiselfie. The contest will run through Sunday, August 30 and the winner will be announced on Madame Tussauds’ social media channels on that day.”

We did a search, and the only entry we could find with someone taking an actual selfie is pretty much what you would expect:

Wax Nicki is a million times better than Farrah Abraham’s sex do||! Actually, the countdown may already be over — and it wasn’t even a guy. Check out this photo retweeted by Nicki herself:
