Bobbi Kristina’s alleged drug dealer found dead of a suspected overdose

Stepho 2

Steven Stepho, an Atlanta-area drug dealer who counter Bobbi Kristina among his clients, has been found dead. His family suspects an overdose.

Stepho was “trying to turn his life around,” according to a new report, but family and friends think it was a relapse into drug use that ended his life. “He’s been on the path to sobriety for a while,” said Radar Online‘s source, “but [his loved ones] believe that he fell back into using heroin or with mixing it.”

The same source also mentioned that Stepho had been attending AA meetings.

In interviews after Bobbi Kristina’s hospitalization last winter, Stepho acknowledged that he was an occasional drug dealer for both Bobbi Kristina and her then-boyfriend Nick Gordon. “I was not the [main dealer],” Stepho said, in a March interview. “That part of my life is way in the past. I made mistakes and have paid my dues for those mistakes. I have a great job and a child on the way.”

Stepho was also, allegedly, Bobbi Kristina’s roommate for a brief period.

Over the past two years, Stepho had been arrested twice for drug possession. His most recent arrest came in October of 2013, police found 5.8 grams of heroin on his person, and charged Stepho with drug trafficking.

That charge led to a year behind bars, and an eleven-year probation.

Steven Stepho will be buried tomorrow. His family has asked that mourners refrain from wearing black, and instead don blue and white, which were “his favorite colors.”
