On Wednesday, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin welcomed their second child together: a son named Rafael Thomas Baldwin. Today, just two days postpartum, Hilaria did something few new moms would ever consider when she posted a stripped-down selfie in her bra and underwear…but with “good intentions.”
“I have been planning on doing post belly photos but didn’t know if I was gonna have the guts to actually follow through. I hope you understand my intention here: I believe it is important to accept and love our form after going through a bit of a battle bringing life into this world,” she said on Instagram. “Deep breath, here we go…all the way from my glamorous hospital bathroom #ShrinkingBaldwinBabyBump #NoShame #LoveYourBody”
Most of the feedback seems to be positive, with many of her followers applauding her willingness to show that women don’t bounce right back after childbirth. (Except Sarah Stage.)
