Kylie Jenner, 17, has just announced that she’s “cut off” from the elusive Kardashian fortune–and, what’s more, that she hasn’t had access to it for years. According to Kylie, mother Kris Jenner told her three years ago that she’d have to start paying her own way. But Kylie also doesn’t sound too upset about the independence:
[Kris] cut me off financially three years ago so I pay for everything – my car, my gas and food as well as my clothes. There are so many outfits I bought in the past that I just think now are NOT cute – but there’s not very much I can do about it!
It’s all well and good that Kylie Jenner regrets fashion decisions she made at 14. But one thing she doesn’t explain in the interview with InStyle UK is why her mother pushed her to become financially independent at such a young age–or whether she has to chip in for the Kardashian-Jenner utility bills. Though Kylie also didn’t waste any time pushing products on the interview’s readers. The “brand ambassador” for “Nip + Fab” beauty products slipped two mentions into the very next response:
I get spray tans a lot so the Yoga Blend scrub by Nip + Fab is a good skin prep. Before I go to bed I cover my body in it and because it contains lavender it’s really relaxing. I also use Nip + Fab’s Dragon Blood Serum a lot – I have naturally dry skin so it’s good for hydration.
Kylie Jenner has also been planning her own reality spin-off from Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The show would focus on her relationship with Tyga, and her attempts to “make it big” in the music business. So far, the show–tentatively titled The Kylie Khronicles–is still in the pre-planning stages.
Elsewhere in the interview, Kylie claimed that she doesn’t exercise, because doing so would crimp her youthful style: “I haven’t worked out in two and a half years. I’m living out my youth not doing any exercise and eating what I want, which is pretty bad. I’m into yellow rice – you just cook it for 15 minutes, it tastes so good.”
Kylie recently found herself on the receiving end of some teasing when she attempted a quick spray tan product plug via Instagram, but missed a few spots on her leg before uploading the photo. Defenders were quick to point out that the apparent splotches could have been light reflecting off of nearby glass.
