Is Kate Gosselin engaged? That seems to be the question many of her fans are wondering after she appeared at TLC’s Block Party this weekend with a large ring on that finger!
For the past few months, Kate has reportedly been dating Jeff Prescott, a millionaire from Boston with a questionable past. They were linked by Radar Online last month after a “very touchy-feely” dinner out on the town. He also praised her in a January interview.
“She’s a single mother with a deadbeat father in the picture and eight kids. She has a lot on her plate,” he said. “She does really well with what she has. The image people portray and who she really is are very different.”
Despite the rumored romance and her new ring, Kate says walking down the aisle isn’t in her immediate future.

Even though Kate isn’t currently engaged, she recently said her children are very vocal about their hopes that will happen someday: “They are encouraging me more and more [to date]. I just don’t have a lot of time to be out there to be searching for someone! I would love to date! And I would love for the kids to have that male role model,” she said in April.
She added it would also help out with practical matters, as one of her kids noted. “Our microwave broke like a week or so ago, and I was trying to take it out… Leah said, ‘And this is another perfect example of why you should get married again!’
Guess that means Kate is still accepting applications!
