VIDEO Amy Schumer’s newest One Direction parody is currently blowing up the internet

Amy Schumer is on quite a hot streak lately. First, her booty anthem parody “Milk Milk Lemonade” went viral; next, her “Last F•ckable Day” video, a send-up of Hollywood ageism, went even viraler. Now, she’s revisiting a recent tiff with unstoppable boy band juggernaut One Direction, and mocking phony beauty standards in the process.

Just two (ish) weeks after making fun the band’s internal troubles with a joke at the MTV Movie Awards, Schumer aired a decidedly One Direction-esque parody on Inside Amy Schumer Tuesday night. Here’s “Girl, You Don’t Need Makeup”–and if you think it sounds more than a little bit like One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful,” you’re not alone. Check it:

Jezebel is calling it “the song of summer” (which is pretty high praise, considering we haven’t even hit May yet). Slate, the Washington Post, and Salon all have good things to say. What do you think? Are you ready to crown Schumer the queen of television comedy? Or do you need to listen to the song a few more times first?
