Bikini-clad grandmother Patricia Ebel (mug shot photo above) was arrested in Naples, Florida last week after she crashed her BMW with her 10-year-old grandson in the car. Patricia was caught on video failing a field sobriety test and reportedly told police she couldn’t stand on one leg on a good day. She was later charged with three DUI counts including driving under the influence with a BAL above .15 with a minor in the vehicle.
Here is the video report from WINK News in which they ask the handcuffed Patricia whether or not she knows why she is going to jail as police put her into the car. “No,” she says before turning away.
According to the accident report, 49-year-old Patricia was driving a BMW with her grandson after they were swimming at a pool when she rear ended another vehicle that was stopped at a red light. The driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Patricia and her grandson appeared unharmed in the accident.
Online records indicate Patricia was later released on $3,000 bond. She has a scheduled court appearance on May 13. WINK News attempted to talk with Patricia at her Naples address, but she “could not be reached.”
