VIDEO ESPN’s Britt McHenry suspended after going full Mean Girl on towing lot attendant

ESPN’s Britt McHenry has been placed in time-out by the network after acting like a spoiled kid at a towing lot.

In a video added to LiveLeak yesterday, the 28-year-old sports reporter berated an impressively polite parking lot attendant while trying to get her car out of the impound lot on April 6. Even after the attendant warned Britt she was on camera (and Britt looked directly at it), she continued to insult the other woman’s education, dental care, weight and more…

“I’m in the news, sweetheart, I will f**king sue this place… With no education, no skill set, just wanted to clarify that… Do you feel good about your job? So I could be a college dropout and do the same thing? Why, cause I have a brain and you don’t? Maybe if I was missing some teeth they would hire me,” Britt said. When the attendant then said something about how Britt’s roots her showing, she fired back, “Oh, like yours, because they look so stunning… I’m on television and you’re in a f**king trailer. Lose some weight, baby girl.”

Britt apologized for her actions on Twitter after the video went viral.

“In an intense and stressful moment, I allowed my emotions to get the best of me and said some insulting and regrettable things,” she said. “As frustrated as I was, I should always choose to be respectful and take the high road. I am so sorry for my actions and will learn from this mistake.”

After reviewing the matter, ESPN placed Britt on a one-week suspension.
