It looks like Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom will remain married for the foreseeable future as TMZ reports their divorce case will be dismissed as soon as this month.
Following months of cheating and drug rumors involving Lamar, Khloe filed for divorce in December 2013. He never responded, leading to reports that his lack of communication was the only reason the divorce never went through.
However, sources close to the Kardashians told TMZ that Khloe could have easily gotten a default divorce judgment — but never did because “she just doesn’t want to deal with the divorce.” Based on her interview with E! News last week, it seems Khloe’s delay is also because of her lingering feelings.
“I will never ever not love Lamar. I was so obsessed with him in a healthy way. He was my husband, and I still wish he was, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that,” she said. “There’s nothing I can do. Lamar has to do things in order to change in that aspect, but yeah, if I had my way I’d be married to Lamar in two seconds.”
Making matters more complicated, insiders say the $5.5 million Khloe and Lamar earned from selling their marital house will remain in limbo until the divorce is hashed out.
