The most recent piece of legislation that the state of Indiana has turned into law is the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, a so-called free speech bill that gay rights advocates say will allow business owners to discriminate openly against homosexuals. Under the tenets of the bill, business owners will be able to deny services to anyone whose beliefs conflict, even allegedly, with their own.

Indiana governor Mike Pence called the bill a defense for those who feel “their religious liberty is under attack by government action,” and, while he’s certainly got company–Georgia passed similar legislation this month, and Kentucky and Illinois have recently done the same–the bill’s critics have been vocal with their displeasure.

One such critic has a very loud mouthpiece: Miley Cyrus took to Instagram to excoriate the governor, choosing perhaps the oldest insult in the book to do so. Check out the post:

You’ve got to assume Miley wishes she’d turned the “that” into a “than.” Still, it’s a powerful message.

What do you think? Do you live in a state that’s passed similar legislation? Is your religious freedom under government assault? Do you agree with Miley?
