Paris Hilton’s younger brother Conrad Hilton isn’t nearly near as infamous as her, but he gained a bit of ground this week: Conrad surrendered to the FBI on Tuesday for a tirade he went on during an international flight in July 2014.

According to The Los Angeles Times, the 20-year-old was charged with “assaulting and intimidating” British Airways crew members during a flight from London to Los Angeles. He was allegedly so disruptive that “it interfered with their ability to perform their duties” and scared the passengers. He reportedly also threatened to kill, fight or fire the flight attendants and said, “My father will pay this out, he has done it before. Dad paid $300,000 last time.” He later told investigators he was just defending himself.

Despite his threats against the flight crew, TMZ reports the brunt of Conrad’s anger seemed to be directed to the “peasants” onboard. Among a handful of other insults, he allegedly yelled, “I will f*cking own anyone on this flight; they are f*cking peasants.”

After pacing the aisles and locking himself in the bathroom — where the flight crew believed he smoked weed — Conrad returned to his seat and passed out. The captain then authorized the crew to handcuff the unruly passenger to his seat for the remainder of the flight.

Conrad’s attorney, Robert Shapiro, told TMZ his client took a sleeping pill before the flight and likely had an extremely adverse reaction. Nonetheless, family sources revealed Conrad checked into a 30-day inpatient drug and alcohol treatment program right after the incident.

After appearing in court on Tuesday afternoon, Conrad was released on $100,000 bail. He was also ordered to surrender his passport and remain in California. He still faces a potential 20 years in federal prison for the charges.
