‘Human Ken Doll’ Justin Jedlica continues mission to be ‘100% plastic’ with controversial surgery

Human Ken Doll Justin Jedlica Plastic Surgery

After getting turned down by a number of doctors, including Botched‘s Terry Dubrow, Justin Jedlica continued his mission to look like a Human Ken Doll by having veins from his forehead surgically removed.

From what I can tell, cosmetic vein removal is only suggested for varicose and spider veins in the legs. It is generally done by “sclerotherapy,” a procedure in which a solution is injected in the vein and causes it to turn into scar tissue and fade from view. Justin said he risked blindness if something went wrong with the forehead procedure, but he was still determined to go through with it.

“As a very detail oriented person I always find something new to critique and fix,” he told The Daily Mail. “Most recently I had three veins in my forehead stripped and ablated as every time I would smile or laugh they would pop out… It was a high-risk procedure because there was a possibility I could go blind as they needed to go in through the inside of my eyelids in order to burn the veins off.”

Fortunately for Justin — who has spent nearly a quarter of a million dollars on dozens of cosmetic procedures — the forehead operation went well. He quickly followed it up by getting four implants inserted in his back.

“My back implants are also one-of-a-kind as I designed and handcrafted each piece to make sure they matched the Ken doll aesthetic,” Justin, 34, explained. “I designed the surgery to have one huge implant under the muscle and on top of that I had two small implants stacked on top of the other. I wanted the effect of having wings on my back.”

Next on Justin’s surgery wish list are abdominal and calf implants.

“I still have a long way to go before I can say I’m 100 percent plastic,” he said. “But I’m so determined to be plastic that nothing will stop be from reaching my goal.”
