90 Day Fiance Danielle’s son Corey found guilty of domestic violence against Mohamed

90 Day Fiance Danielle's son Corey Mullins Mohamed Jbali domestic violence

Anyone who watched the second season of TLC’s 90 Day Fiance could see that Danielle’s family, including her four children, were not supportive of her relationship to her Tunisian fiance Mohamed — perhaps none more so than her son Corey. Apparently Corey’s disapproval of Mohamed escalated further than what viewers saw because he was found guilty of a domestic violence charge against Mohamed in November!

The charge was first uncovered in a couple of online forums (along with a list of other legal issues for the Mullins/Jbali family, including an eviction from their apartment at the end of October) and recently came to light courtesy of a Bring Me Your Torch podcast.

We tracked down the actual online court records for the case and here is a summary:

On November 3, 2014 (shortly after Corey, Danielle and Mohamed were evicted) the case was filed charging Corey Mullins with domestic violence against Mohamed Jbali. Corey was charged with violating Ohio Code 2919.25C which reads, “No person, by threat of force, shall knowingly cause a family or household member to believe that the offender will cause imminent physical harm to the family or household member.” So it appears as though Corey did not actually assault Mohamed, but threatened to.

Corey posted a $225 bond and a temporary protection order (TPO) was issued mandating that Corey “shall have no association or communication with Mohamed Jbali.” Also, Corey “shall not be within 500 feet of victim.”

On November 10 Corey entered a plea of not guilty and a trial date was set for November 25.

At his November 25 trial Corey was found guilty of the domestic violence charge, a 4th Degree Misdemeanor.

On January 6 was given a 30-day suspended sentence and fined $150 plus court costs. He was given two years probation and ordered to “have no association or communication, direct or indirect, with Mohamed Jbali for two years.”

As we previously reported, there are reliable reports that Mohamed is currently being investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after his appearance on the show, and Bring Me Your Torch reports that the FBI might also be looking into Mohamed, though they were unclear why and didn’t seem very confident in the genesis of that rumor.
