Celebrity Apprentice: Kenya Moore asks Keshia Knight Pulliam why she didn’t call Bill Cosby

This season of Celebrity Apprentice was filmed before the massive Bill Cosby scandal, and with his former Cosby cast member Keshia Knight Pulliam on the show, things got awkward quickly. Keshia, who was the first project manager for the women, gushed about how much she had learned from working with Bill Cosby.

Later, when they women found themselves as the losing team despite having the best pies, Kenya Moore asked Keshia why she didn’t call up her “TV dad.” Donald Trump said that was a good point, that she should have called Bill Cosby. “We’re hustling up money for people, I’m casting a gnat, trying to catch a whale,” Kenya says.

After no one let the topic go, Keshia finally got emotional and said that she had not spoken to Bill Cosby in years, and that it would have been super awkward to call him up out of nowhere after never speaking with him except for random events over the years. Donald Trump and coach Piers Morgan both didn’t take this excuse seriously, arguing that because it was for charity, she could have used her connection to him to drum up some quick cash. Of course, if this had been filmed after the fallout, it’s doubtful they would have pushed her on this issue.
