Kanye West drew attention to himself for the wrong reasons on a flight from Paris to Helsinki yesterday, according to a source who spoke to Page Six.
“The whole flight was waiting on one of those buses that ferries passengers from the gate to the plane. Kanye and his assistant boarded in a huff,” the fellow passenger said. “The assistant sprinted to the bus from the gate with all of the travel documents, while Kanye walked casually behind him. They did not apologize for keeping everyone.”
After Kanye took his first-class seat, other coach passengers were able to board. The insider said that one “European couple” asked Kanye for a picture, but he refused: “He initially seemed to say yes, but then pointed at the line of passengers behind them waiting to board and declined… Mostly through hand gestures. He was almost mute. He was not talkative at all.”
As the plane prepared for takeoff, Kanye got more comfortable by concentrating on his laptop, which supposedly displayed “nearly nude photographs of a woman with long, dark hair.” (Kim Kardashian from her Paper Magazine shoot?)
This story is funny/suspicious to me for a few reasons. One, if they plane was so delayed by Kanye’s arrival, why did they wait to board all of the coach passengers? Also, maybe the reason Kanye wasn’t particularly “talkative” with the “European couple” was because they didn’t speak the same language… Oh, to be a celebrity.
