The Bellas are back for more aca-mazing vocal performances in the sequel Pitch Perfect 2.
Today, the first trailer from the film was released, and it immediately sucks you in with the most beautiful a cappella rendition of “Cups” you have ever heard. Of course, the clip also previews the shenanigans The Bellas encounter during their quest to win the world-wide a cappella competition.
Is it silly? Yes. Does it look a bit sophomoric? Totally. But, does it look simply delightful? Most definitely!

While Pitch Perfect garnered moderate success grossing $65 million dollars domestically, the sleeper comedy drew in a huge fan base. Sales of the DVD as well as the soundtrack surpassed all expectations helping ensure a sequel wouldn’t be far behind.
Pitch Perfect 2 will arrive in theaters on May 15, 2015.
