^Masika Tucker and Yung Berg during the taping of the Love and Hip Hop Hollywood reunion just hours before the alleged assault
There’s trouble in paradise for Love and Hip Hop Hollywood stars Yung Berg and his bae Masika Tucker. After taping the LHHH reunion show, Berg and his lady hit the town. Unfortunately something else was also hit that night, Berg’s credit card limit.
According to reports, Berg’s credit card was denied when he tried to pay his tab for drinks. In a fit of rage, the Hitmaka (as he calls himself) stormed off.
TMZ reports Masika followed Berg and made it known she was none to happy that he left her behind. That’s when things got nasty.
Around 2:15 am on Wednesday, Berg allegedly began assaulting his girlfriend when he grabbed her by her neck, pulled her by her hair, and punched her in the face. Cops rushed to the hotel room where Masika complained of pain and had visible bruises.
Berg, real name Christian Ward, was charged with “obstruction of breathing.”
Despite the reports of abuse, Masika is standing by her man. She claims this incident was a result of alcohol and that it’s uncharacteristic him.
However, former friend of Masika and previous flame of Berg’s Hazel E claims quite the opposite. In episode six of LHHH, Berg and Hazel got in a heated dispute. She claims Berg engaged in the fight as it became increasingly escalated rather than backing down.
“With my experience with him in that scene alone, I felt like you never defended yourself when you got your chain snatched or when you got hit in the back of your head, but you were ready to tussle with me in the vehicle. It raises an eyebrow for me.”
