Recently evicted former reality TV star and alleged cat abandoner, Jon Gosselin, has made a public pitch to ex-wife Kate Gosselin to appear on VH1’s Couples Therapy with him.
The 37-year-old, who appeared on season 4 of Couples Therapy, told Life & Style that he thinks it would be a good idea for their kids:
“I would consider appearing on ‘Couples Therapy’ with Kate. We’re divorced, but why can’t we co-parent? I was thinking Kate and I could do a televised sit-down with a doctor and work out our differences, because our kids are suffering.”
Jon added that Kate wasn’t down with the idea, “She says absolutely not. She doesn’t want her faults exposed.”
Jon also made it clear that he believes Kate is dating her bodyguard turned business manager Steve Neild (a constant rumor that she has denied). “I’d love for her to finally admit that she’s dating Steve. It’s confusing for the children,” he quipped.
Jon was recently photographed purchasing a video game at a yard sale Kate was having. TLC cameras were on hand but the network stated that Jon will not be seen.
There’s also been reports that Jon is vying for a cut of the money coming to Kate from her new TLC gig.
So is this all a publicity and money grab from Jon? Probably. Would I watch Couples Therapy if Jon and Kate were on it? You better believe it! Then again, I’m pretty sure you can get family counseling that isn’t broadcast on TV…
