VIDEO Teenage Kim Kardashian predicts fame, boasts about popularity in home video

Long before that video helped catapult her career, teenage Kim Kardashian predicted she would be famous in a tape from her 8th grade graduation party.

“Does everyone get a tape of this?” the future Mrs. West asked in the footage, which was unearthed by Entertainment Tonight in honor of Kim’s 34th birthday. “I hope you do so you can see me when I’m famous and remember me as this beautiful little girl!”

Besides saying she was going to be “famous and old” one day, Kim informed viewers that she was “dope on a rope” and the most popular in her class.

“He’s just jealous that I’m doper than he is and that’s just a fact,” she teased a classmate named Lawrence. She was then asked to define “dope” and explained “dope is Kim.” Better call the folks at Merriam-Webster.

The video also shows Kim, dressed in a white qipao dress, dancing and fighting her friends for more time in front of the camera. The event was a final gathering for the middle school classmates before high school, which Kim attended at an all-girls school in Los Angeles.

“Everyone loves me, because I’m so popular and everyone loves me,” Kim said. “We have so many memories, but they’re going to miss me the most!”

In what was likely an amusing coincident, Kanye West used Kim’s favorite word from 1994 to wish his wife a happy birthday yesterday: “Happy Birthday baby! Thank you for being the dopest wife & mom! … Sometimes I feel like just saying I love you isn’t strong enough to express how much I love you.”
