Wednesday night is the highly-anticipated premiere of FX’s American Horror Story: Freak Show and Sunday the network hosted a red carpet gala premiere at the famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood with pretty much the entire cast in attendance, along with show creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck as well as an army of Glee peeps — including Lea Michele!
In case you were wondering, yes I Photoshopped the above photo of Sarah Paulson, who does doubleheader duty on AHS Freak Show as conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tattler. I thought about doing the same thing with some of the other cast members, but beards are hard to Photoshop on (sorry Kathy Bates) and Angela Bassett’s neckline wasn’t low enough to Jasmine Tridevilize her to any noticeable effect. But, the rest of the photos are so amazing they needed no Photoshopping! Here are some of my personal favorites with brief descriptions followed by a rather sizeable slideshow gallery chock full of Freak Showtrulescence!
Naomi Grossman (above) was a hot Pepper in her very revealing sheer dress! In case you were unaware, Naomi will be reprising her AHS Asylum role as Pepper becomes the first ever American Horror Story character to appear in different seasons. (Not actor or actress, but actual on-screen character.) Personally, I’m hoping Murphy and Falchuk will pay homage to the franchise’s matriarch Jessica Lange, who has stated this is her last season on the show, by allowing some of her characters from other seasons to make cameos on Freak Show. The timing would be right for Sister Jude and, of course, Fiona Goode!
Brad Falchuk is officially my #MCM this week as he shows Obama a thing or two about rocking a tan suit! Forget handsome, Brad is handallofit y’all! #50ShadesOfTan
Singer, and popular The Voice alum, Melanie Martinez, whose song “Carousel” was featured in the American Horror Story: Freak Show trailer, ramped up her usual eccentric and fun style for the Premiere, rocking a colorful outfit from www.dolleyesny.com. “Had a Awesome time at American Horror Story Red Carpet Premiere and After Party in LA,” Melanie wrote on Facebook before adding, “Thank you for the invite #AHSFREAKSHOW”
Melanie was obviously super-excited to be invited. I mean, just look at her freaktacular AHS Freak Show nails!

What can I say about this photo, featuring American Horror Story: Freak Show cast members Jyoti Amge and Erika “Amazon Eve” Ervin? Jyoti Amge is the shortest woman alive (according to the Guinness Book of Records) at just over two feet tall, and she is resting on the shoulders of “the world’s tallest model,” the six-foot, eight-inch Erika Eve!
