Gossip Girl alum Blake Lively is going to be a mom!
Lively revealed the good news that she and husband Ryan Reynolds are going to be parents by sharing a photo via her website, Preserve. The picture, taken by her brother Eric Lively, shows the 27-year-old in a print dress in the fading sunlight clutching her bump.
Both Blake and Ryan have been open in interviews about their desire to start a family. Blake told Marie Claire, “If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would.” Ryan revealed to Details that, “We’d love to have a big family. We both come from big families — my parents did four, Blake’s did five. A lot of people say it’s crazy, but we’ll only know when we’re there, you know? We’ll walk through that fire pretty happily, I think.”
Reynolds and Lively met on the set of 2011’s The Green Lantern. The pair secretly wed during a small ceremony in South Carolina in fall 2012.
