Congrats are in order for Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka!
The 41-year-old How I Met Your Mother star and his fiance tied the knot Saturday in Italy.
Harris and Burtka, who began dating over a decade ago, announced their engagement via Twitter in June 2011. They are parents to twins Gideon and Harper.
Both grooms donned Tom Ford tuxedos and none other than Elton John performed at the reception. A spokesperson for the couple said:
“We happily confirm that Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka were married in Italy in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their close friends and family.”
Harris tweeted out the happy news this morning writing, “Guess what? @DavidBurtka and I got married over the weekend. In Italy. Yup, we put the ‘n’ and ‘d’ in ‘husband’.”
