Kim Kardashian’s been married to Kanye West for a record-breaking 74 days (her marriage to Kris Humphries only lasted 72,) and to prove that she’s not planning to cut the union short any time soon, she got a new passport with her brand new name: Kim West.
She’s already changed her name on Twitter and Instragam (which may be more official moves in the new age.) Kanye recently explained to GQ what marrying Kim meant to him.
“Saying ‘Hey, I like Kim’ isn’t as inspiring to people as us getting married,” he said. “And anyone that’s in a relationship knows that in order to get to the point to get married and then to be married and to then carry on, it needs that work put into it. Right now, people look at it and it’s like, ‘Wow, that’s inspiring.'”
I also feel a little inspired to get my hair and makeup done for my next Passport photo. The last time the lady asked me “Did you know you were gonna get your picture taken today.”
