Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles starring Megan Fox hits theaters nationwide this Friday. The highly anticipated summer blockbuster has had, as franchises with passionate fan bases always do, its fair share of detractors ever since the news of its existence was first announced. During a recent press conference Fox had some choice words for all the pre-haters.
Cinemablend attended the panel in Los Angeles for the movie, which also included co-star Will Arnett and director Jonathan Liebesman, and reports that the following was Megan’s reply when they were all asked about the online backlash:
“Let me tell you something about those people. How much money did Transformers 4 make? Exactly. Those people can complain – they all go to the theater. They’re gonna love it – and if they don’t love it, they can f*ck off, and that’s the end of that.”
Alrighty… Now you know that even before you see TMNT if you walk out not loving it its star kindly wants you to know you can f*ck off.
Much of the bellyaching about the film has centered around Fox’s casting as reporter April O’Neil and her ties to Hollywood heavyweight producer Michael Bay (the man behind the Transformers franchise that Fox mentioned).
