Busy A-list actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie can’t always be by each others side, but instead of sending emoji texts when they’re apart, they pen love letters.
Angelina Jolie told TV Week that was filming Unbroken in Australia and Brad was filming Fury in the UK, they started sending each other letters in the mail while imagining themselves to be globetrotting actors from a different era.
“He was supportive from a distance and it was quite romantic in a way,” she says. “We decided to be of that time when we could imagine he was in the European theatre and I was in the Pacific theater and we wrote hand-written letters to each other that were very connecting for us, thinking of the people that were separated for months if not years at a time back then.”
