Judging from the just-released extended preview trailer for VH1’s new reality series Candidly Nicole (starring Paris Hilton’s former Simple Life co-star Nicole Richie), the show might be more accurately titled Facetiously Nicole as the former Simple Life co-star tackles a series of super-serious topics with an entertaining dose of sassy and silly violet-locked tongue-in-cheekiness.
So what is the show about? According to Nicole it’s about race, nurturing our planet and being green, health issues, equal rights, growing up, family, love and relationships, connecting, and finding a place where you belong. “And it’s about me,” she adds.
What I like best about the trailer is that Nicole doesn’t seem awkward or to be trying too hard, which I think we can attribute to her extensive experience in front of reality show cameras as well as the fact that she has been honing the concept of Candidly Nicole as an AOL web series for some time. Plus, am I crazy or is she pretty damn sexy? How do I apply for that nuzzling gig?
Candidly Nicole premieres Thursday, July 17 at 10/9c on VH1.
