MTV made the announcement Monday that Teen Mom 2 would be returning for the second half of Season 5 on July 16 with a dramatic preview trailer. Earlier today the network posted another promotional clip for the new season with even more mama drama footage!
Titled “Change is one tough mother,” the clip highlights most of the same story lines as the original trailer, albeit with a lot of new scenes. Here’s what we know we can expect from each of the main cast members:
Chelsea Houska: More custody drama with ex Adam Lind, who continues to get arrested on a monthly basis.
Leah Calvert: Leah and husband Jeremy Calvert have relationship issues exacerbated by Ali’s medical issues and the resulting costs.
Jenelle Evans: Tensions run high between pregnant Jenelle’s boyfriend (and baby-daddy-to-be) Nathan Griffith and Jenelle’s mom Barbara Evans as the always present pending legal issues add additional stress and uncertainty to the mix.
Kailyn Lowry: Kail and husband Javi Marroquin continue to struggle to adjust to being newlyweds and new parents to their son Lincoln — all while still being parents to Isaac.
Teen Mom 2 returns Wednesday, July 16th at 10/9c on MTV.
