Jonah Hill apologizes for homophobic slur aimed at obtuse photog

Jonah Hill has apologized for telling a paparazzo to, “Suck my d*ck, fa**ot.”

Hill was out and about in Los Angeles over the weekend when a few of the ever-present photographers caught up with him and started following the actor down the street. One particularly obtuse photog, as caught by TMZ, kept hounding Hill, including taking a shot at his floral print shorts saying, “I like the shorts though, bro. They are pretty sexy.”

As Hill and a friend tried to get away the person still pursued him and that’s when the obviously irritated Hill blurted out the slur.

The Moneyball star has a history of advocating for gay rights. Here’s a tweet from Hill from back in November in support of the Love Conquers Hate campaign:

He summed up his feelings with E! on the subject at the time by stating, “I have tons of gay friends, gay family members. It’s like saying, why do you think people should breathe?”

After the video was posted, Hill wasted no time as he addressed the situation with Howard Stern this morning – taking full responsibility. He explained that the photog had been following him all day while saying hurtful things about his family. “I played into exactly what he wanted and I lost my cool. And in that moment I said a disgusting word that does not at all reflect how I feel about any group of people,” Hill said.
