After Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s lavish, multi-million wedding in Florence, Italy, they headed off to another luxurious European locale for their honeymoon: Castle Oliver on the Emerald Isle.
The Independent reported that the famous couple is staying at the luxurious Victorian home in Ardpatrick, Co Limerick. The castle’s owner Emma Cormack said she couldn’t comment about the couple, but neighbors saw “lot of activity” at the castle this weekend. The lawn was cut and cars were seen going in and out.
The castle used to be rented out for weddings, but is now on the market to be sold. An exception, of course, was made for one of the biggest celebrity couples in the world. Among it’s amenities are gorgeous private gardens. After such a frenzied wedding they’ll probably enjoy some quiet in the Ireland countryside. Kimye won’t be staying at the castle for long, though, they are set to attend Kanye’s stylist’s wedding in Prague this upcoming weekend.
Tourism Ireland is super excited about Kimye’s presence in their country, and are planning on mapping out a tour so Kim and Kanye’s fans can follow in the footsteps of their trip. “We’d love to be able to give their millions of followers the information so maybe they can follow in their footsteps. It’s a global story,” marketing director Mark Henry.
