Perhaps in honor of “May the Fourth Be With You,” The Voice‘s Adam Levine has left the dark side and dyed his hair blond! The Maroon 5 singer and bona fide superhunk tweeted the photo above showing off his new ‘do (and also showing off his bona fide superbabe fiancée, Behati Prinsloo) and added the caption, “Apocalypse prep course complete.”
Adam’s stylist, Shaul Arbiv, owner of Shampoo On 3rd Hair Salon in Los Angeles, reveals to People what Adam’s motivation was for leaving brunettedom behind. “With summer months coming up we wanted to do something totally drastic and different from his previous styles so we bleached it,” Arbiv says. “I have been working with Adam for a long time and he likes to change up his style often.”
The responses to Adam’s lighter look wasn’t all positive, however, as it seems some thought the new look was a bit unsettling. Adam was unperturbed by the negativity, and jokingly turned it completely around with his response:

Although Adam’s hair, Adam’s fiancée, and Adam himself are all amazing elements in this photo, I’d like to make the argument that the most amazing thing in the picture is Adam’s cat print tank top!
