While Liam and Harry One Direction were trekking up the 5th-century Inca site Machu Picchu in Peru they got reverse photobombed by a couple of fellow travelers.
They were snapped in the background of a bearded fan’s selfie, which was posted on Instagram with this commnet: “Ticked off two boyhood dreams today, 1. Went to Machu Picchu 2. Met one direction.#onedirection #machupicchu #1D #omgitsharrystyles.”
Machu Picchu is known as a “lost city” because the abandoned hilltop Inca city wasn’t discovered until 1911. Since then it’s become a source of rich information for historians and archeologists, and a fascinating destination spot for tourists. The One Direction boys took a break at the popular tourist spot during their Where We Are world tour.
