Fortunately for all women, Marilyn Manson is off the market again, but unfortunately for men, Evan Rachel Wood is taken as well. The tragedy is that the talented and attractive 22-year-old actress is back on the depressed, alcoholic, cokey arm of the 40-year-old (with a 14-year-old mind) shock-musician.
They’ve been splits for for about a year now, and sometime during that break Marilyn begged for ex-wife Dita von Teese to come back to him. He also revealed some of the psychotic details of his split with Evan Rachel Wood in an interview, describing spending Christmas 2008 not speaking to his family, having cocaine baggies taped the to wall and calling Evan 158 times, each time slashing his face with a razor and talked about how he wanted to kill her. Who wouldn’t want to take that back?
Manson broke their reconciliation himself to Metal Hammer magazine:
“Sometimes you feel awkward being what you’re best at, you feel like you have to be something new. But I think that a lot of people will agree that me being me at my best [is what] I need to be. I think that really paid off because I’m back with Evan, that’s kind of breaking news, you can be the first one to say that.”
Since the news still hasn’t come out of Evan’s mouth and they are yet to be photographed together, it might be safe to take this information with a grain of salt.
Although Manson is reportedly back with Wood, he has split from his record company, Interscope, and is happy about it because Interscope wouldn’t let him make videos where he pretends to kill Evan Rachel Wood.

It’s basically 6 minutes of Marilyn Manson looking sad into the camera and 27 seconds of him beating a girl that looks exactly like Evan Rachel Wood to death. He’s always so subtle and mature:

You know, it’s really funny, all of you that judge what you believe you know about Manson. Lyrically he’s one of the most accomplished writers you’ll ever have the pleasure of hearing. His persona is an image developed to both market and represent the disturbed nature of our society that he is speaking out about.
The above video is not in any way about how he would like to beat up Evan, it’s about how he feels that he is a monster that destroys everything that he touches. Almost any song that is personal about himself represents that message.
Like many of the great artists, he appears to be depressed and in desparate need of counseling. However, it is that same dysfunction that allows him to develop the brilliant lyrics and imagery that a lot of people (who have taken the time to really listen) respect and appreciate.
This is not “27 seconds of him beating a girl,” but a misogynistic interpretation of murdering of a girl on camera. I guess we can safely assume this is domestic violence in the video, which I’m not sure if MM is condoning or utilizing as an artistic medium (or both). No wonder MM parted from Interscope. Of course, they won’t endorse this kind of violent image. And what does MM care? He’s laughing all the way to the bank as this stuff sells like crazy. He doesn’t need Interscope to publish this stuff…and he gets to reel in even more to the dark or whatever image he promotes. But the kicker is that it doesn’t matter whether this represents his personal life or not. MM is incredibly intelligent, and guess what…he knows that he found a sick and twisty niche of Corporate America because he knows exactly what he can market and sell. And lots of you people gobble it right up. He might as well be the Britney Spears of his genre.

I saw Manson in concert about 10 years ago and it was one of the best concerts I’ve been to. He really makes each song its very own production.
As for how he acts in “real life” – dude’s got some major issues he needs to work through.
