Multiple outlets are reporting that Lauren Silverman, the girlfriend of X Factor curmudgeon Simon Cowell is in labor.
According to Us, the 54-year-old pulled out of filming for Britain’s Got Talent today in London and hopped on a private jet to head to New York City where Silverman is ready to pop. TMZ stated that Simon will make it in time to not see the delivery of his first child, a son.

Back in September, Simon was his usually not so charming self when he was asked by Ryan Seacrest if he would be witnessing the birth of lil’ Cowell. “I know this sounds awful, but it’s like you don’t want to go in to the restaurant while they’re making your dinner. I think there are certain things you shouldn’t see and that is one of them. I’ll be very close by, but no [I won’t watch],” he answered.
This will be Lauren’s second child as she has an older son with ex-husband Andrew Silverman.
