Comedian Randy Liedtke pulled over by cops for iPhone-shaped cookie prank

Comedia Ryan Liedtke is a pioneer of the new frontier of comedy: internet virality. Less than two weeks after masterminding the now-infamous Kyle Kinane vs. Pace Salsa Twitter feud and the #BringBackMiles hashtag, Liedtke has once again given birth to a another soon-to-be ubiquitous phenomenon: the iPhone cookie prank.

The concept is pretty simple — bake cookies to look like iPhones and then drive around in California (where driving and talking on a cell phone is illegal) talking into the cookie waiting to be pulled over by a police officer, at which point you take a bite of your iPhone and ask something like, “What can I do for you officer?”

Here’s a timeline of the prank, including Randy’s realization at the end that maybe it wasn’t such a good idea:

* It’s important to remember that in this new form of comedy you can never be sure what’s real and what isn’t, So we don’t know if Randy actually got a ticket or even got pulled over. Either way, it’s still funny! Let’s just hope he doesn’t decide to “take it to the next level” by taking a bomb-shaped cookie into LAX.

Now let’s start the countdown on how long it is before we start seeing iPhone cookies at Starbucks…
