Boy Meets World fans may have noticed a familiar quote in a picture Ben Savage recently shared: On the back wall of the classroom Cory Matthews will teach in for the news Girl Meets World series, a big sign reads “Dream. Try. Do Good.” — Mr. Feeny’s last sage words on the original series!
Although the quote is a worthy reference to one of television’s most beloved characters, Boy Meets World fans have something even more exciting to look forward to in the new series: William Daniels is reprising his role of George Feeny in the premiere.
Speaking with Parade last month, Ben implied some other (yet unconfirmed) stars from Boy Meets World will make cameos on the new show — potentially including Rider Strong, who played Shawn Hunter.
“I can’t give anything away, but I would say that you’re going to see a lot of the characters from Boy Meets World and I think our fans will be happy when they see what we’re doing.”
Girl Meets World is on track to debut on the Disney Channel in early 2014.
