39-year-old Joaquin Pheonix has a lady love 20 years his junior: DJ Allie Teilz. The couple were snapped this week enjoying a romantic stay in Rome. They even coordinated their Converses! That means it’s serious.
During an interview with Bullet Media, Allie noted that she was an old soul: “I’ve always felt like an old lady inside of a teenager.”
Hailing from Arizona, Allie started DJing when she was only 16, and by age 19 it became a full time, high-profile gig. She’s landed jobs working with the likes of Thom Yorke and Elijah Wood. But she was able to find success so early in the party scene partly by employing a bit of deception.

I had a complete double life and lied about my age, obviously, but I was really getting involved in the music world and starting to meet people. It wasn’t a good world for me being as young as I was. I felt an extreme disconnect with the world because everyday there would be a huge arena show and so many people involved who would build this thing up and then I’d watch them build it down and it would be like it never existed.
