Everyone was holding their breath in Amsterdam today, and not just because they were maximizing some really great weed. They were all waiting to see what Miley Cyrus would do as an encore performance at the 2013 MTV European Music Awards after perhaps the most infamous performance in Video Music Awards history just a few months ago in the US.
The 20-year-old singer did not disappoint as she arrived on the red carpet wearing a very revealing backless minidress featuring the faces of gunned-down rappers Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur that included the written message, “Please Stop Violence.” In addition to the revealing rapper wrapper, Miley was also sporting a vicious pair of black and white checkered M.C. Escher inspired Tom Ford boots and a pair of diamond necklaces with a large, gold letter “M.”

As far as her performances, Miley helped kick off the EMAs by landing in a spacecraft wearing a space helmet and a knee-length silver dress with platform shoes before performing “We Can’t Stop” with a diminutive gal pal. Twerking and spanking ensued:
For her next performance, Miley donned a really high-waisted 1980’s inspired leotard for her performance of “Wrecking Ball,” relying more on her powerful and emotional vocals than choreography shock stunts:
Despite the great “Wrecking Ball” performance, the Miley Cyrus EMAs performance everyone will be talking about this week came after she won the EMA for Best Video for “Wrecking Ball” and she lit up a blunt as part of her acceptance.
Yep. Miley smoked a joint on TV. Good ol’ Amsterdam.
