Called the Colorado River Bridge at the time, this 2006 photo shows the Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge alignment looking towards Arizona from Nevada. The excavation for the future Pedestrian Plaza access trail leading to Abutment 1 zigzags up from the future parking lot area (lower left). The Mike O’Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge as it is now called is should be completed in August 2010 and open in November 2010.
