Jerry O’Connell, Kal Penn react to “We Are Men” being cancelled after just two episodes

CBS cancels We Are Men

After just two under performing episodes, CBS has cancelled “We Are Men” no longer starring Jerry O’Connell, Tony Shalhoub, Kal Penn and Chris Smith.

According to CBS, the show was plagued by poor reviews and didn’t gain any traction with viewers. Penn (Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle) had expressed fears of this happening previously but O’Connell had calmed his nerves.

“Jerry has taught me to just relax…You talk to Jerry and he’s like, ‘You need to relax. You need to enjoy this. Either it’s going to get canceled, or nine years will go by and it will end, and in both cases if you don’t relax, you’re not going to enjoy it.’ I’m like, ‘You know what? I like this Jerry O’Connell.'”

Both Penn and O’Connell took to Twitter about getting dropped like it ain’t hot:

Starting next Monday Two Broke Girls will fill the 8:30 time slot vacated by the men who were.
