Bryan Cranston/Walter White
As the previous star of Malcolm in the Middle, Bryan has proven he can be both comedic and diabolical. His next roles err on the side of the former. He is set to reprise his role as Ted Mosby’s former boss on How I Met Your Mother. He is also working as voice actor on the upcoming Kung Fu Panda 3. In terms of expressing his evil side, Bryan just wrapped Cold Comes the Night, where he takes a motel owner and her daughter hostage.
Aaron Paul/Jesse Pinkman
With his breakthrough role now behind him, Aaron is primed for a wide range of roles. And, despite what he said, his calendar currently seems booked up. He has three movies in post-production: Hellion, A Long Way Down and Need for Speed. He is also filming Exodus. All are set for release in 2014.
Anna Gunn/Skyler White
Although she wasn’t the most loved of all characters on Breaking Bad, Anna did recently win an Emmy Award for her portrayal of Walt’s suffering wife. With that on her resume, she is starring as the title character in TV movie Rita, which is a remake of a Danish series. No word on the premiere date.
R.J. Mitte/Walt Jr./Flynn White
The youngest of the regular actors on Breaking Bad, R.J. stands to have the longest career ahead of him. It was actually just revealed today that he’s signed on for the third season of ABC Family’s Switched at Birth. He has two other films in pre-production.
Dean Norris/Hank Schrader
Fans of Under the Dome are already well aware of Dean’s newest role: He is one of the starring characters in the Stephen King adaptation. The show got solid ratings and has already been renewed by CBS for a second season in 2014. Dean also completed filming for The Counselor, which stars Brad Pitt.
Betsy Brandt/Marie Schrader
As one of the most redeemed characters of the series, Betsy was in a good position to parlay her fame into a new role… And that’s exactly what she did by signing on as Michael J. Fox’s wife in the new The Michael J. Fox Show. One episode in, the show did pretty well in the ratings. TV By the Numbers already predicts it will be renewed.
